Hello!

  • Finding a Piece of Peace

We often have a chip on our shoulders. When we really self reflect on the reason we do things, is it because it is something that defines us or is it because we want others to validate our worthiness?

β€œThe whole world is sick…we’ve all got this pathetic need to be seen. We’re a bunch of fucking toddlers trying to get attention.”

    Jess Walter, Beautiful Ruins

When we think about what really worries us, that is where our treasure is. So what is it? Is our treasure ours or is it someone else’s?

  • Why the Trinity?

The Holy Trinity is often misinterpreted or misunderstood. There are those who say that it is polytheism with three gods or that it is God in three different forms. All of these are wrong and the opposite of common logic and Christian monotheism.

β€œThe Father loves not only the Son but also himself and us, by the Holy Spirit.”

    St. Thomas Aquinas

God the Father is the Eternal Cause from which all things seen and unseen come from. God the Son is the Effect. God the Holy Spirit is the Motive. Effect without Motive is Absurd. Cause without Effect is pointless. God is the Eternal co-existent Cause, Effect, and Motive.

  • Connection

Everything in the known Universe requires some sort of connection. Whether it is the physical world’s connection to natural law, a brain’s neuron connection to other synapses, or the connection between food and health, Reality is a causal connection of two or more substances or idea.

β€œIt is an absolute human certainty that no one can know his own beauty or perceive a sense of his own worth until it has been reflected back to him in the mirror of another loving, caring human being.”

    John Joseph Powell

Abstract and academic thinking on topics of Theology, Psychology, and Philosophy are important if nothing more than fun; however, it is the physical relationship to God, People, and Nature that brings us the connection that we really need to grow, cope, and blossom into the purpose we are meant to become.

  • Non-contradiction

The definition of nothingness in this article is the absence of all substance including energy, matter, movement, or reality. ‘The Philosopher,’ Aristotle, concluded that things cannot, and do not, contradict each other. Such as, a something cannot and will not come from absolute nothing.

“In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous.”Β

    Aristotle

If substance cannot come from nothingness, there is only one logically necessary conclusion. Substance has been, is, and will always be. If logical and scientific order cannot come from chaos, the necessary conclusion is that Order was, is, and shall always be.

  • Who Is Your Hero?

When we think about our heroes, whether real or fictional, what are their traits? Are they strong? Are they defined by their moral code or wit? What makes your hero admirable to you?

“The unexamined life is not worth living”

    Socrates

When we reflect on the people that we admire, we will quickly find out that it is a reflection of the person we want to be.
