Why is love of God and fellow human being the most important law? It seems like common sense in a matter of thinking. Meaning, thoughts precede action. Do people kill, cheat, and steal mindlessly? Most likely not. If I love someone, I would support and defend them. If I love God, I would want to be pleasing to Him. So while law’s of prevention are important (I would not know I am a sinner if I was not told so), the law of love promotes positive actions which strive to make the Kingdom of God a reality right here and right now.
